Just finished scanlating yume musubi koi musubi chapter 14...well it's low quality still, and i'm really tired, so the boxes and everything is really ugly >.< sorry! Still i was really excited about this chapter cos this is a huge leap in their relationship and many people were expecting this chapter for 2 months...(me too) so i just decided to go ahead and scanlate it!

Sweet Pool

Somehow my taste for translating has picked up again >.< I have picked up translating sweet pool again, and have almost (I meant it!) finished translating script #31. Bof, it was tiring, but this time, i only needed the dictionary for some parts only. Japanese level-up! But most of the time, I think I only understand cos my chinese is not bad haha.

Talking about Sweet Pool, let me rant for a while...
I can't feel the love from Sweet Pool, I mean, it's not a bad thing, in fact it's great! The taglines of the series was "Koi mo naku" = "Not love"; it's something deeper, and to that aspect, I have felt that there's something dark and something mysterious that has engulfed me whenever I played the VN. I could feel Tetsuo's care and concern for Youji, but somehow, the love between them was always surpressed and the two never seemed to be able to convey openly how they felt about each other. Maybe they did, but then again, they didn't. It's somewhere in between and the fine line between love and acquintance is blurred. It makes the player think and think and anticipate, but somehow the climax didn't quite come. I guess that's what's so special about the title.

All Nitro+Chiral titles have such a feeling to them...well I didn't play Lamento so I wouldn't know T.T
I'm saving up to go to Comiket this december...don't know ifI'll make it in time haha.

Lunar New Year

Yes I got 4 days worth of holiday for Chinese New Year! And I busily spent those 4 days playing Final Fantasy VII on my PSX. Yes, slow as I am to discover this great classic 10 years after it's release and play 13 years after it was developped...eh, I still feel it's greatness even now.

The one thing that really attracts and pulls me in about this great game is the beautiful storyline. From Midgar to Gongaga, though the two are so dissimilar in terms of industrialization and such, one can feel the same sense of nostalgia flowing through these small cities and even feel sympathy for the slum dwellers. The golden saucer's joy and happiness was simply a facade for the hidden darkness and corruption that the world had, and one could feel through the setting and story that this happiness was just momentary. Yet people are struggling. AVALANCHE was not as much an impact to me as Cloud and Aerith were. Both may appear to be strong and uncaring for Cloud's case, but you can see that they are lost, lost in this whole bustling world of chaos. One could that Cloud did not the directions in his life and Aerith was all alone, despite having her companions, you could feel her loneliness and her desire to return to her kind. Sometimes, through the flashback of Cloud in Nibleheim, I kept screaming, "But that was Zack's story!", 'cos I had played through crisis core and sympatized greatly with Zack, but at the same time, this just showed how sad and miserable Cloud was, to not even know his own identity or remember the old friends that he used to have.

When did Cloud laugh? At the beginning of everything, on the rooftop with Aerith, when everything seemed so simple and safe. But no, FFVII presents to you a story so complex yet beautifully brought out that you will be hooked and screaming for more.
Aerith, if you leave, who will show Cloud the direction?

Rewatched MoB and ignited the flames in me. Started reading the novels, and the ending...after 40 volumes of pain and angst and love... I present to you:

Togainu no Chi

Today was the first rainy shower after I had listened to Shiki's Drama CD. It really made me depressed. I still remembered myself soaked in my own tears yesterday right after I listened to Shiki's drama.

Here's a small snippet of their conversation.
(Shiki was the strongest man in Igura, but he was defeated by Nano before, and his life's purpose was to find him and prove that he can defeat Nano now if he ever saw him. Along the way Shiki had chanced upon Akira many times, and he captured Akira in hopes of destroying Akira's determination(which was what had attracted him in the first place). Then one day, Akira got captured by Arbitiro and Shiki went after them. He found out that Nano was there and got into a fight with Nano.)

Nano: You're really foolish. You don't give up even after I have defeated you everytime you challenged me. You obviously know that you cannot defeat me. You know why? That's because you have never experienced sheer feeling of fear...but I have. You don't understand that without the weak there can be no strong. I'm under the torment that you can never imagine...and that's why I am strong.

Shiki: Shut up!

Nano asks Shiki to just take his blood, which is Rain and makes people stronger. Nano says things that tries to sway Shiki to consume Rain. Shiki almost succumbs.

Shiki: In order to obtain this power, I have thrown away everything! I've even killed my parents with this hand. This time I will surpass you! (He almost takes the Rain...Until he hears Akira's voice.

(This part is actually beautiful in a sense that we can finallly see that the strongest Shiki has his weak points and there're things that even his will can succumb to. It shows he is so twisted that he just wants to do anything to defeat Nano, and that is his one obsession. But that is so until Akira comes into the picture. For once, other than the ero scenes, Akira's words comes into his mind despite all his obsessions.)

Akira: Shiki! Didn't you say that you will defeat him with your own powers!? To be trapped by weakness and to defeat it is totally different! Wake up!

Shiki finally realizes he almost got tricked by Nano and comes to a realization scornfully. He pulls out his sword and kills Nano. (Nano let Shiki kill him.)

Nano: You lose.

Shiki, running towards Nano to kill him, he remembers what Akira said to him.
Akira: Till the very end, I won't listen to anyone but my own will.

Shiki repeats what Akira said in unison: I don't belong to anyone, I BELONG TO MYSELF!

Right before he kills Nano, Shiki still remembers what Akira said, and says: Akira, like you said how you belonged to yourself till the very end, I will follow my own will...even if it's confined by the craziness of Nicole...I will KILL YOU!

Then, the beautiful yet sad ending theme plays, and the tears start flowing.

After that, Shiki went into a state well he can't speak properly or move about. He is confined to a wheelchair. Akira protects him by taking on his role and defeating people who come to challenge "Shiki".

Till the very end, the last moment where Shiki had his conciousness, he remembered what Akira said to him, and he himself agreed to it. He wanted Akira to live on. He wanted Akira to continue fighting on and having Akira's determination, even though he himself is going to go into a state where he no longer has any will left in him. Was that out of love? I thought that was the moment, THE moment where Shiki had shown his emotions for Akira. It was touching, yet it was the last time Shiki would emotionally reach out for Akira.

Looking back, Shiki is really really tired from all the fighting in his life, and just living for the sake of killing someone and destroying things. He has lost his purpose in life, and lost the drive to live. For once, he can finally just go into this state of repression where everything is just bland and peaceful for him. It's like Shiki can finally get some rest from his ragged life.

At the end, Shiki hears Akira fighting against challengers and the sound of the blades clashing triggers something in him. He asks Akira's name again, and this was the scene that had happened earlier. He remembers something, but most of his memories are still locked away.

I don't know if this is a good ending for Shiki, but my heart just reaches out to him for Shiki's life has really really worn him down. But I just can't get over the fact,

that Akira,

has to live with and bear the fact,

the strong-willed Shiki that he might have loved,

is no longer here, and yet

must not give up,

in the hope that Shiki will come back.

Shiki, please come back to us.

I'm devastated and depressed T_________T This must be one of the worst days of my life! Can i cry? I agree i am a bit slow to hear this news but Nitta Youka-sensei has abandoned all her mangas and quit being a mangaka!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH?! to all who doesn't know her, she is my yaoiiiiii idol after ayano yamane-sensei! her works and art and storys are to die for, especially haru wo daiteita, boku no koe and Secret Diplomacy. her storys are so emotional and sweet and it just compels you to keep on reading!!! i especially love how the main characters act around each other, and their relationship as uke and seme is flexible, the uke is not someone who hates the seme's relentless attacks but is someone who also takes initiatives at times to kiss the seme or do other stuff ^.^

i mean, look at haru wo daiteita, Iwaki-san was reallly awesome in there as a 90% uke and 10% seme. the first few volumes of him coming to love Kato was so emotional...ahhhhhhh! i love heart wrenching angst love T_T the fact that there's already 13 volumes shows its reallly awesome! Nitta youka-sensei is also very professional about the storyline, with the acting parts and the skills etc. plus the fact that she linked up this story and "fuyu no semi"(winter cicada) is awesome and i loved how she drew Iwaki playing aizuki(?) and stuff. *Winter cicada was one anime that made me cry for 10 mins straight* T_________________________T
T_________T Now we'll never be able to see Iwaki and Kato in action again, sniff

and i must emphasize how nice secret diplomacy is!!!
i mean, yoshinaga-san may look like a geek here with his glasses, but once you read on, you will find that he is actually very very very very hot without his glasses. he's so hoooooooooooooot you'll just want to cry! he has this small black spot/mole under his eyes and it reminds me of atobe from prince of tennis, except yoshinaga-san is 100000 times more handsome than atobe, and you know how awesome atobe already is! hence i highly highly recommend "secret diplomacy" to everyone! it's not on mangatraders and i dont think that's the full name, but i suggest googling it, then you will find that you can download it at 4shared.com or also, you can find it at nihonomaru (http://forum.nihonomaru.com/) inside their forums under "Nitta Youka"'s works.

http://forum.nihonomaru.com/ is a really good place to find and read yaoi stuff, or actually all manga/anime stuff :D i love it there and i love lj there! :D

sadly, i have to say goodbye to Nitta Youka sensei's lovely works T_T i can't get over the fact that my lovely "secret diplomacy" and "boku no koe" will not be continued! i'm seriously left at a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge cliffhanger with shiraishi ...you know... no spoilers T_________T NITTA YOUKA-SENSEI! YAY im back from the marathon quizzes and stuff :D anyways, due to the long time that i hadnt been updating i realised APH ep 3 & 4 is out. EP 3 is really cute O__O

Firstly, since in ep 2 Germany found Italy in a tomato crate and held him captive, Italy has become Germany's prisoner and lives off Germany xD To show his appreciation, Italy has composed a song for Germany to his surprise and the song is very cute xD especially the lyrics! It rhymes sometimes as well :D

Soul Eater prologue (ep1,2,3)

Haven't been very active at watching anime or taking screencaps or typing words into blogger.com lately. *Grabs myself by the collar and knocks some sense into myself* But now i shall discipling myself by blogging about this new series that i have started :D yup, as the title implies, the series that i am tackling now is

Pretty sure many people already watch soul eater, and yes yes i am a noob. whatever~ for those who didn't watch soul eater, it's a seriously fun anime to watch. though it does have some ecchi elements in it but it's mostly for comical purposes xD (new genre for mollie, and ehhem, yaoi is not ecchi D:)anyways the first 3 episodes are "prologues" that introduces you to the 3 main characters and at the same time gives a small background to the aims of the anime. these 3 episodes will definitely make you want to watch more soul eater, because it demonstrates very high comical factors, good art and nice characters :D

Some background to soul eater: it is set in a universe where there are technicians who study in the academy of shinigami weapon wielders who are trying to collect tamashi(souls) or "kishins" of different monsters and witches so that they can level up their weapon and evolve them into ultimate weapons that can be of use to the head of the academy, mr shinigami.

the weapons can take a human form and they have their partner technicians respectively. anyways, the 3 pairs are :

from episode 1: Maka and Soul Eater
episode 1 introduces Maka and her partner Soul Eater. Maka is trying to become a good weapon technician as her mother was and she and SE has already collected 99 souls of kishins and only need another 1 soul of a witch in order to level up SE to become a death scythe. SE can transform into a scythe, which is really cool xD

Ahhh i can't get enough of Maka's scythe :D

they try to find a witch and when they find one they get into battle with her. things happen (haha) and in the end, it turns out that the witch was just a cat in disguise and they will be stripped of the 99 souls they have collected as "punishment" and have to restart xD

what should blog about this time? hmm... it does seem to be getting harder and harder each time :\ maybe cos i haven't been watching anime that much at all :\ i'm reading manga now xD so much good stuff in manga don't get turned into anime at all, but viewfinder is :D hooray !

oh yeah, lemme just scorn first. it turns out that they are not airing/cancelling the air of Hetalia Axis Powers, the only anime i was going to watch this winter season T_T how could they!! ok this anime depicts different countries as anime characters, each with a different personality that signifies the country's history. Some people are claiming that it has devalued Korea so they are stopping it. nooooooooooo T_T i want to watch HAP so much. it's so much better than all the new shoujo animes to come this winter season TTT___TTT
italy looks so cut(waving) :D
just a few more days to go and it gets cancelled T_T *curses and swears*
i want to see Japan being depicted as an anime otaku boy :(!!!
okay don't be dejected. there's still a chance it will appear on the internet, cos i heard that i might still be broadcasted on handphone 3Gs and stuff. *prays*

totally captivated manhwa

phew. mollie-san is finally back after one week of struggling with studies :D now to blog about the beautiful manga, no wait, should i say manhwa that she has just read! its: Totally Captivated. I'm totally captivated by Totally Captivated !!! xD okay, im not joking, i really love the series (love on first sight) and i went on a 6 vol straight reading :D it's by a korean mangaka, but i must say the manga quality is top-notch and it has a style similar to the japanese ones! maybe i should read more manhwa now :D

anyways, Totally Captivated is really really nice, and has a plotline background similar to that of viewfinders, though the profanity is stronger, but there is almost no explictness as compared to viewfinders. haha. it's also to deal with underground mafia business, and it's very complex as the series progress. Generally, the main male lead Ewon is "enslaved" to this debt company whose boss is Mookyul, because his ex-boyfriend wanted to have revenge on him. (ok, his ex-boyfriend's current bf is Mookyul, who is very powerful and can use his powers to take revenge on Ewon.) as the series progress, Mookyul is revealed to be related to Ewon in the past and likes Ewon. (like may be too mild?) anyways, the feeling is mutual and the series becomes rather emotional in the later volumes! it's so awesome :D i love it so much and i'm still in the midst of reading it and waiting for new chapters to be released! :D come follow with me!!!

and yes, notes to self, there are many websites of scantalator groups and hosting webs that i have to follow up on :D they are awesome and i love them so much. i promise once i acquire the skills i will join you fellow comrades!!! and i will go to kino to stock up on manga :D

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn ep 15

Hmm...first day of school. Makes me miss the good old days of watching anime. *sniffs* anyways as i have loads of kateikyoushi hitman reborn! ep 15 screencaps(mostly fanpics of Dino) stashed up in my laptop i shall do a summary abt it =P as i have said, the first 20 episodes or so of KHR is mainly comic action and ep 15 is one of the funnier episodes that have Dino inside so of course i readied my print screen button and started snapping :D

ep 15 is a sidestory that actually starts off with Tsuna having to babysit I-pin and Lambo, but suddenly one by one his friends show up(which involves lots of Gokudera getting pissed at Yamamoto cos he wants Tsuna allll to himself *sweet*) and then reborn splits the group into two groups and decides to have a match where each group have to try to capture Leon while fending off each other's advances with snowballs. Tsuna is grouped with Yamamoto and Kyoko while Dino is grouped with Kyoko's brother, Gokudera and Haru, much to the latter two's displeasure :D Of course, as the game progresses and neither side is winning. FUNNY THINGS ENSUE.

1.Because Dino's subordinates are not around, he becomes very clumsy. He tries to throw a snowball at Tsuna but it lands on Gokudera instead :D

omgw, look at his cute face xD!!! "rawrrr... here... i... go...!!!"

the unsuspecting Gokudera, is ignorance bliss? apparently not xD

2.Gokudera suddenly announces that he was spying for Tsuna and reveals many dynamites and throws them all up into the sky above his own fort, while exclaiming happily that he is going to return to Tsuna's side.
3.This causes an explosion which stops Haru's futile attempt to defect to Tsuna's side xD

Anyways, things progress, and Bianchi, I-pin and Lambo join the game as a third party...They chase Leon around and one by one they all go down and gets kicked out of the game xD

Stuff happens and Yamamoto and Dino are out :D *still gaps at Dino-san's cuteness*

until only Tsuna is left. Reborn hits Tsuna with the dying will flame and Tsuna starts chasing Leon ferociously until... ... ... HIBARI APPEARS! (and declares that he wants to join the game xD).

then he says that he cant because of stuff with namimori o.o of course, this then leaves leon with tsuna...and stuff. Then I-pin suddenly catches sight of Hibari and starts counting down because she becomes shy after falling in love with him xD so random. BOOM.. and HAPPY ENDING :D!

Much agreed, I do find Dino-san veryveryvery cute!!! :D What a crazy fangirl i am. This is a demonstration of how fun Kateikyoushi can be at the same time as having action-packed episodes like ep 86 that i introduced earlier :D Still, i'm sticking with high recommendations for this anime so do watch it when you are free :D Have fun, meanwhile, mollie-san needs to return to her studies xD. no more entries for the next few days. haha XD

new year+viewfinder manga+KHR manga ch224

HAPPY NEW YEAR! yay:D it's finally 2009 and i was hoping to move on a bit with my life. but then again, this signifies the end of my holidays and my wonderful days of slacking and non-stop anime action. Looking back at this holiday, i realised i have totally dedicated it anime, not saying it's a good thing, but wow. I finished/watched like 20 animes series+OVAs...best of which includes junjou romantica, kuroshitsuji, kateikyoushi hitman reborn! (yep, around 70+eps!) and kyou kara maou :D of course, when the holidays ends, i have to revert back to seriously studying cos i must not let that elusive 4.7 slip out of my reach! anyways, this means i'm gonna cut back on blogging abt anime and also watching them, but i suppose using the com on saturdays should be okay!

To mark the end of 2008 and of course to keep me company while both my parents are holidaying away in battam, i started and finished the viewfinder naked truth arc! yes, its a yaoi series...but since i am a dedicated fujyoushi and shonen-ai fan, beware of some of the lovely shonen-ai entries that i will post on this blog. Ppl who can't take such stuff should skip such entries haha. anyways, back to viewfinder. IT IS AWESOME :D the art is awesome and so is the storyline. It's about a freelancer photographer Akihito Takaba who was caught photographing the "mafia" head Asami and as a punishment, Asami did you-know-what to him and of course this caused feelings to start developping between the two. There is a lot of explictness in this manga, which i skipped most of cause i really couldnt take it, so beware! (skip 3-4 pages if need be!) In the Naked Truth Arc, Akihito is captured by Feilong(Someone who holds a grudge against Asami) and Asami sets out to save Akihito from the Chinese mafiaso. This arc is very emotional and readers get to see a new side of Feilong, which is very cuteeee :D Hint Hint:

Though the ending was shorter than i thought, it was still a good read! This marks the tempory end of the viewfinder series and it is said that another chapter will be released in 2 months or so. this viewfinder series might even be serialized into an anime. WOOHOO! *keeping my fingers crossed*

As for the Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! manga, I am very very happy to say that VARIA HAS RETURNED!!! Ever since the ring conflict arc i have been waiting for varia to make a comeback cos they were such an awesome group, especially Bel, Squalo and Xanxus :D I got a horrible idea that Xanxus died when i watched the anime and i was in terrible shock, as Xanxus was soooo awesome and i didn't want him to die at all:( Thankfully, he didn't!!! He appears yet again in chapter 224, better, cooler and stronger! *Fangirl Squeal!* MUHAHAHAHAHA, okay that was more like evil fangirl smirk. Varia arrives back at around chapter 220 so watch out for them! i've read it on mangafox.com, but i'm still going to buy it once it gets released into the tankobon! I've already bought 3 volumes, and since it's such a classic i'm so going to get the whole set :DD Go read, it's totally worth it!

New year resolution would mostly be on studying, and hopefully better my violin and piano skills :D everyone have a good new year! Hope that i can concentrate more on my studying and not get distracted too easily! Shall hope to keep this anime otaku blog running too! meanwhiles, no more anime for me, but past reviews shall be added! Keep reading :D

Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn ep 86

yes, so i finally got to open this anime blog after much undue procrastination. though i would have preferred a personal server, something like junjou.org, but it would take lots of cash and high levelled programming skills than me the poor and computer-idiot would ever achieve xD anyways, i suppose i will be blogging about all the great animes that i am watching or have watched, with probably laces of manga and game action. I have to live up to the title of being an otaku you know? :D anyways, with my parents off on holiday, it's just me and my computer alone at home now... of course this calls for anime to keep me occupied and away from the loneliness. I'm currently watching kateikyoushi hitman reborn! and i must comment that it is an awesome anime that must not be missed.

anyways, the first 20 episodes are mostly for comical purposes and introducing characters to help build up the show base, so if you get bored and feels that there is not much storyline, it is not wierd. however, do not give up on this anime! the next episodes will leave you screaming for more!!! anyways, the first 20 episodes gave me lots of joy too, and there are some epic jokes that i found that could definitely tickle you to no ends. For example in ep 6, the character I-pin is introduced and she has really bad eyesight :D this causes her to mistake Lambo as the broccoli monster. Epic screencaps available :DDDDD

anyways, there was just a sample joke to how funny and comical this series could be :D so do give it a try! Back to the main topic, i've recently just watched ep 86 and it was an awesome episode... though i didn't take too many screencaps cos i was too lazy. Anyways, in ep 86, Tsuna gets trained by Hibari, basically by fighting Hibari’s “porcupine” which is released from a "box" by using a special flame from the ring. The battle is pretty intense, and Hibari comments that the Tsuna from the future was a much better fighter than the current one. At one point in the battle, the porcupine suddenly changes into lots of clouds and engulfs Tsuna, turning into a spiky ball shaped container that is air tight and oxygen limited.

"an air tight sphere of compressed cloud flames that have the ultimate power or isolation"

Tsuna must try to break open the ball from within or he will die. Gokudera and Yamamoto strongly oppose to this but they are forced off to do their own training to become their future forms. Meanwhile Tsuna is having trouble breaking open the ball. Near the end, after his last attempt fails, he falls down and suddenly his Air Ring starts emitting a weird “laser” to his head, showing him the sinister sins that Vongola has committed and the previous heads appear and question him about whether he is ready to take on the crimes that Vongola has committed. Tsuna breaks down and Reborn arrives at the scene.

Sidenote: While Tsuna struggles while fighting Hibari and fights to break out of the sphere... Lambo thinks that he is watching fireworks and Hibari yawns =.= xD

Anyways, this will be all of ep 86 summary kateikyoushi hitman reborn! Hmm... i do hope that i can keep this anime blog up and going and hopefully add more features to it. for now... let me just dwaddle away and figure wad to do so that i get a scroll that enables viewers to pick animes they wanna see... hmm... any suggestions? feel free to post in the comments! And yeah, skipping to ep 86 was too quick...my bad! the flames and boxes stuff must be confusing, but it will actually be explained by Hibari and Lal Milch in ep 87-88 xDDD Go watch the anime, it's awesome!!!
